Compensation Plan

In the Spatial Planning Key Decision Near Shore Wind farm (SPKD NSW) the government stipulates that the initiator has to draw up a proposal to give compensation for the potential disruptive impact on nature values. At the end of 2004 NoordzeeWind submitted the Compensation Plan for Nature Values for this purpose. This plan was approved at the beginning of 2005 by the Ministries concerned. 

 

The Compensation Plan came about in cooperation with the government, nature and environment organisations and NoordzeeWind. In total the plan includes six measures for improving nature and environmental values.
